Solid 4.5 - Worked for almost 4 years
Pros:Works as plannedSet it up one time and never have to do it againUseful when plugging in extra USB when the PC or Mac has limited USB portsUSB 3.0 - Faster data speedsWill power devices from computers USB port. Doesn't need power supplyOne device for all my USB needs.Cons:- Power Supply broke after almost 4 years of use. So when I removed the cable my computer all devices needing usb power (i.e. desklight, fan, charging of headset) stopped working. Need to purchase a new one.- Only one Power Port. For me, I want more USB power ports to use with my phone, tablet, fan, light, headset or other devices needing power.Overall a solid 4.5. I loved how simple it is and how it kept my desk cleared from USB electrical power plugs

Efficient, Reliable, and Feature-Rich — A Must-Have USB Hub
After several months of daily use, the Atolla 7-Port Powered USB 3.0 Hub has more than earned its spot on my desk. If you’ve ever struggled with too few USB ports or constantly swapping cables around, this hub is an absolute game-changer.Let’s start with the obvious strength—seven high-speed USB 3.0 ports for data transfer, plus an eighth port on the front specifically for charging. That’s a generous setup, perfect for anyone juggling multiple devices. Just keep in mind: the front port is for charging only, not data transfer—but honestly, it’s a convenient way to juice up a phone or wireless earbuds without eating into your data ports. One of the standout features is the individual power buttons for each port. You can turn off any plug you’re not using, which is a nice touch for saving energy and keeping unused devices from drawing power unnecessarily. The small LED indicators are clear without being too bright, and it’s satisfying to have that level of control.Design-wise, it’s got a sleek and slim profile that doesn’t take up much space. It fits nicely behind a monitor or desk setup if you want to keep it out of sight, but it’s also clean enough in appearance to leave on display. As for performance, I’ve had zero issues adding or removing devices—external hard drives, flash drives, peripherals—everything connects smoothly and maintains fast transfer speeds. No weird disconnections, lag, or power issues even with multiple devices plugged in.Pros:✅ 7 USB 3.0 ports for data + 1 dedicated charging port✅ Individual on/off switches for each port✅ Slim, low-profile design✅ Stable performance even with multiple devices✅ No issues after months of daily useCons:❌ Honestly, none that I can think ofFinal Verdict:The Atolla 7-Port USB 3.0 Hub is a reliable, well-designed solution for anyone looking to expand their USB capacity without sacrificing performance. With smart features like individual power control and a dedicated charging port, it offers excellent value and seamless functionality. Highly recommended.

Reliable and Convenient Hub
I've been using the Atolla Powered USB Hub for over two years now, and it's still working perfectly. This hub has become an essential part of my setup, providing seamless connectivity for all my devices. With its seven ports, including one smart charging port, I can easily connect my laptop, external hard drives, mouse, keyboard, and more, all at the same time. One of the features I appreciate the most is the individual on/off switches for each port. This allows me to power off specific devices without unplugging them, which is incredibly convenient for managing power consumption and device connectivity. The switches are responsive and easy to use, adding an extra layer of control to my setup. Moreover, the included 5V/4A power adapter ensures stable and reliable performance, even when all ports are in use simultaneously. I've never experienced any power-related issues or fluctuations, which speaks volumes about the hub's build quality and reliability.Overall, the Atolla Powered USB Hub 3.0 has exceeded my expectations in terms of functionality, durability, and convenience. It's a reliable and versatile hub that has seamlessly integrated into my setup, making it a must-have accessory for anyone looking to expand their connectivity options.

Great for 2.5 years. Then not so great. USB 3 funtionality quit. Still does USB 2
Worked great for 2.5 years. Added 7 USB3 ports to my PC. Seems like everything is USB so I needed extra ports. Sadly, about 6 months ago, USB 3 devices stopped working. They powered up, but no communication. USB 2 devices though, still work, so I suppose it is the internal circuitry. I checked the port it was plugged into on the computer to be sure it was USB 3, and changed to another USB 3 port, but still no USB functionality in the device. I noticed this first when a High quality, 256g USB3 thumb drive quit working. It still worked in a USB 2 port, but had all sorts of errors on the USB3 port. I believe this hub damaged the circuitry in the thumb drive. It no longer works on any USB 3 port, then stopped working on USB2. Then I noticed that none of my USB 3 devices worked on this hub. So I have no proof, but I believe this hub's internal circuitry failed and damaged my thumb drive. So disappointed, because until this incident, this was a great hub. Heavy wiring, came with power supply, worked flawlessly until it didn't. I am considering replacing it with this same model, but not sure. I have 10 year old USB 2 hubs still working well, and I don't know if this brand is an issue, or maybe similar brands have the same chipset and prone to the same issues. If you ask me a year ago, I would of been 5 stars and a hearty recommendation. BTW, the hub is on a UPS system and surge protected. The port it was connected to is on the motherboard, and the port is fine. So it did not damage my PC or port. Since I use a lot of USB 3 devices now, I am going to remove this, as using it as a USB 2 hub is not useful.
