Surprising Knife for the money.
Alright, so I buy knives for EDC, and, even have a Youtube Channel dedicated to EDC and knives.I bought this as a backup in case my Schrade Delta Class Divergent ever failed, needed maintenance, or just to be rotated out. Had all the right things, D2, Axis lock, G10 scales, White on black coloring. So, It has been a while since I had bought this knife. And it has not failed in being a knife.first, The scales, G10, and as for G10 goes, it is on par with any other G10 scale. Grips when it needs to, but can get stained easily due to the white coloring.Next we have the blade. D2, or so it claims. It sharpens well enough for D2, and maintains an edge for a reasonable amount of time. goes through boxes without much fuss, Blade shape, being a Drop point, is fairly standard in the looks department. Though the Black coating on the blade, seems more like a paint, and not like a DLC type coating. But after cutting through more than, a couple hundred boxes, the paint has not been smeared off, so that is a plus.Ergo's are pretty standard. feels a bit boxy in the hand, but nothing that is not acceptable. Axis lock is fairly easy to access, though not as pronounced as maybe a Benchmade, or a Schrade, or similar knife with an axis lock. But it is smooth, and the bearing that it uses, them being caged bearings is smooth. Handle has enough room for all four fingers to grasp onto without being too short or cramped. Now, for the tiny few things I have a problem with. The Thumb studs could be places slightly better, to allow for better thumb opening or for Flicking it open, but the Axis lock is already so easy to use, it in a sense cancles out this point. The white scales do get stained fairly easily if you use it constantly. For a nice backup knife it is something I would recommend to anyone. Great value for the money, great sub 30 dollar knife that will be a knife, when you need it to be a knife without fail.

Impressive quality
I hadn't heard of this brand before and this knife had no reviews at time of purchase, but I love a good crossbar lock knife and this was right in the size and weight range I am usually interested in for an EDC knife. I've had the knife for a few weeks now so I thought I'd share my thoughts.Quality is impressive. Excellent fitment, action came working very smoothly and with no blade play whatsoever. Blade also came perfectly centered and shaving sharp. The pocket clip is also high quality and I appreciate it's size and (lack of) height. I feel like a poor pocket clip is often a risk with Chinese knives in this price range and I am impressed they nailed it here. The knife seems so solidly built that it feels surprisingly robust for it's 98g weight. The overall feel of the knife is also good, no pieces with sharp corners, burrs, or rough edges as it seems everything was finished with care. Overall the knife feels well built in every way that I can tell, kudos to EMHTiiiAs for the blade steel, I am not an expert and I don't have a rigorous testing methodology. But I used it to cut through approximately 30 feet of cardboard and the edge mostly lost it's shaving sharpness but still cut paper very well. For me I think that outperforms other knives I gotten in the price range in 440c, 8cr, or aus-8 and to me demonstrates the steel is at least decent and will meet my basic needs perfectly well. The biggest potential downside of d2 is tarnishing or rusting so the blade being coated here seems a good design decision as well.If I had to have any critique about the knife it would be the jimping on back of the knife. It actually does slightly increase grip, but not very aggressively, and there is no jimping on the blade itself. I could also see it be a conscious design decision, people not really wanting aggressive jimping on their small knife anyway. So overall I actually consider this a minor note rather than complaint because I am unsure if the knife would actually make sense with more jimping anyway and what is there is alright considering.Overall I am very happy that I took a chance with the knife. I like the overall style and design of the knife and EMHTiii did a great job delivering on quality as well. Crossbar lock action came out of the box as good as any Chinese axis-like lock that I have ever tried(and I have tried many). I think they made a lot of smart design decisions with this knife and executed them well. If you are interested in the design and specs then definitely give it a try as I think it delivers perfectly.P.S. I wish this knife had a name, I don't want to just call it "3.14 inch folding knife". It would be nice if Emhtiii came up with some kind of name/model number system, that would be the only suggestion I could make.

Excellent Quality for the Price
For the price, this is a great knife. The action is great—not sloppy and not tight, at least on the one I got. The handle is comfortable and has a good grip. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. If you want a low-cost, basic knife that gets the job done, this does it.

Heavy Duty, needs some work to become pocket worthy
Built like a tank. I’ll start with the positives. Finish is nice looking and seems durable enough. Blade stock is thick with good geometry and grind is very consistent. Blade is centered well. Factory edge is sharp. Lock seems very strong. Basically this is a bugout on steroids, testosterone, gamma radiation and protein powder. And, then we get to the negatives . Action is not good. I’d say it’s useable at best. Think gas station knives from a few years ago. Gritty, with a ton of friction spots and lock stick. Working the action did nothing. It took sanding and honing out high spots to achieve what I’d call acceptably mediocre action. Lots of sanding. The pocket clip is an absolute beast. You won’t lose the knife, but I hope you don’t need it quickly. I haven’t tweaked the clip at all. I hope it wears in and gets to be a better fit on most pocket material.Bottom line. A strong knife that can be made better by end user.
