I have waited to write a review since we purchased this unit when it was still hot and wasn’t sure how the heating unit would perform. We installed it to regulate the temperature in our garage. The unit works perfectly to both heat and cool. You can barely hear it! It will allow us to use the garage for extra room during gatherings in any weather. As an extra bonus-the shipping company worked with us to deliver on a day that was convenient for delivery. We should have bought this earlier.

This unit arrived missing an entire box and amazon.com was unable to assist. They referred me to the unit manufacturer. The manufacturer does not make the installation kit. I had an hvac contractor come begin the installation and now will have to pay for the missing parts and returned visit. Horrible service and missing parts.

The unit is actually a daikin product, have to register on daikin website. The lines come sealed but not flared or charged, so this is not a diy project unless you have ac specific flare tool, nitrogen purge setup, and a vacuum pump with a daikin specific line adapter. I had mine professionally installed by a company my friend works for. Unit heats and cools well in the space I have it. Great purchase for the hot Florida summers to come. Unit is nearly silent.

We ordered 3 units in September. Two of the units worked great. The third unit has given trouble from the beginning. First, the condensation line leaked inside. Next, after working for a few weeks, it stopped working. A tiny connector inside unit came apart. Now the unit has completely stopped working. Our installer talked with Daikin about replacing unit. Of course, they will not replace so a new compressor has to be ordered for a unit which worked for less than 8 weeks.

We could not believe how efficient this thing is!!!!! ORDERING 2 more for other projects. Got this one in a 400sq foot shop. Electric bill is $25 a month. You can not beat that

I've had these installed professionally and the price I paid was ridiculous! Thousands! Such a rip off. So excited to find the same quality mini split available on Amazon. We managed to get it installed then pay an HVAC pro $200 to come and test it and ensure that it was charged correctly. I installed one 18k BTU unit for a 500 sf ADU with high ceilings. Gets the job done!
