I recently purchased 2 of these organizers to use for makeup brushes, various products and tools. The depth of each opening is good, except for the middle section. Try to only use those for items that are as long as the depth of the compartment. I am using this organizer vertically, although it can be used horizontally. I use the base, which is small and wedge shaped, to hold bottles of foundation with the color label facing out. The bottles are small, and when lying down, they show the color and fit better into the space. If I had room on my countertop, I would buy another, but it would be way too long for most spaces. It would be great is this vendor provided a version that had 2 extra rows, perhaps.One of my two organizers has mostly makeup brushes sorted by use, and the other holds mostly makeup. It's nice to have everything at your fingertips. By going vertical with the storage, more can be stored - displayed - in less space.

This holds like 400 pencils(I only have about 200) . It takes op very little space on my desk. Seems durable but I haven't had it very long.

I have purchased some version of this 3 times. I love them to organize all my various pens, pencils, and markers. Keeps them all in one place where I can easily find each of them. My 11 year old received 2 of these pen holders for all of her color pens, crayons, markers, etc! She can finally locate what she needs! She used to have one big tub with all of her things, but could never find what she is looking for! Not a problem anymore!

I ordered the white and it looks great on my little desk. Helps organize my pens, pencils, and markers so I don’t have to dig through stuff in a drawer.

We ordered 2 of these so my author daughter could organized her pens and note pads. She writes everything long hand and has hundreds of pens! These worked better than anything we’ve tried and she’s very happy with them!

Wonderful for consolidating the plethora of pens, pencils, and markers I have accummulated. I confess I have a love of pens and mechanical pencils.

Endlich eine große Ablage für viele Stifte und Zeichenmaterialien. Lässt sich alles sehr gut sortieren, viel Platz und Fächer ausreichend. Material nicht so gut, es ist an manchen Stellen scharfkantig.

Not only is my desk tidy, I have had lots of comments and questions about this simple bit of kit.. Love it how I managed before I am not sure... oh yes I remember I didnt lol.
