Roxio Creator NXT 4

the 20 year old Roxio is better than this new creator 4 I used an old Roxio software to edit and burned dvd the quality of the picture is 10x better than this new Roxio creator after burning a dvd using this software when playing it on a dvd player tt's not very clear I am very disappointed. I bought this software because I assumed it would be better than the older Roxio, as a matter of fact it is not I wish I can get my money back or exchange it to the professional one even though the professional is more money also they said this software is capable of duplicate blu ray I tried to duplicate a blu ray it didn't work what a disappointment

I've mixed feelings about this version of the Roxio software. It has features that I like, but there are some features that were available in older versions that are no longer there. For example, when Converting VOB files from a DVD to a format that will play on my phone....the picture is converted perfectly, but the drawback is that there is no sound. If I convert any other video format, it seems to work perfectly. However, the older Roxio software that I have doesn't have an issue converting VOB files, but the picture quality isn't near as good. So, if I could combine the two software versions....it would be perfect. Also, the "Web Video" option that supposedly allows you to record web video from YouTube doesn't work very well. I followed the instructions, but it only worked once, now I can't get it to record at all. Not that I really need that feature, but it was something neat to play around with....until it didn't work.

Did not install properly. Corel customer service (CS) attempted to fix problem. Application will not run properly. I found my own workaround. I right click on the application and run as administrator otherwise the application tries to continue installation. The CS representative indicated they had not encountered such a problem. BTW: I am the PC administrator so I shouldn't have to right click to make it work. Not sure I will continue to buy upgrades, older versions worked fine.

I purchased this three months ago from Amazon and have had nothing but problems with it. The software crashes and freezes up constantly, a lot of the features (Image Stabilization and Extract Audio) don't even work. But the worst part of this is the useless support you get from Roxio/Corel. There is absolutely NO WAY to actually talk to a real technician about the problems. You can use a "chat" line, which is manned by non-technicals giving you the usual "so sorry" pitch. I have opened several tickets to get answers but they only respond with 15% off coupons (for a product that doesn't work-no point). I strongly urge buyers to consider other software from Adobe or Cyberlink and NOT this one!!!

Will not install on Windows 7 even though it says it will. Product support is non-existent. Please avoid this at any cost

It mostly does what I want but it has quarks like when recording system sounds you have an option of auto record but when I turn it off I have to check each and every recording because the auto stop seams to cut off before I'm ready so then I ether have to start all over or wind up editing the end. They need to update that so it continues to record manually until user decides to stop the recording.

I truly have a Love-Hate relationship with Corel, Roxio and Pinnacle. When they work, It's such a nice product to have. But when they don't,and I am going to blame Windows more than the software, errors galore. Ever since I switched to Win 10, ALL my software had to be replaced. And still I have major issues with Creator NXT and Studio 19. If if wasn't for the recent efforts put in by their support staff (on Pinnacle Studio 19) I would "take a flamethrower" to the lot. My fingers are crossed. I reloaded NXT and I am having better luck. This keeps up, I'm adding another star.

Finally a full featured product! that does what it claims! I threw Nero Express into the trash, I wouldn't even give it away free to my worst enemy! It was useless, and every time I looked for a feature other than a straight burn, it wanted more money. Shame on Nero! Pay the price up-front and get a 100% useful Roxio program that actually does what it says it will do!

After I installed the software, it produces continuous error messages whenever I select an option. It does not work fluently and often the work having to reboot the system shuts down. The design of this software is defective. They should be out of the market.

Instructions were somewhat confusing. Picture quality was unsatisfactory: color was very dark and photos were blurred. Very unhappy with the results, so created a PowerPoint on my own which was MUCH better.

I've had Roxio Creator before, don't know the version, and really liked it. My experience with this one has soured me on the brand. It wouldn't load properly on the computer, never did copy and write a CD. save or money for something else

Couldn't get it to copy from CD to CD. Had CD creator 6 and loved it!! Reached out to their customer service but you can only correspond with them b y email which is outrageous

supposed to work with windows 10 but doesn't. unable to edit or work with photos because of 16bit really wanted to love this software

This item was a double purchase. The one product I do have is great. Many enjoyable CDs have been made using Roxio.

It was returned because there was no product key number with it. Roxio could not or would not provide assistance. The seller should clearly identify the product key number. It will save a lot of frustration.
