The next generations work boot
I’ve worn Justin’s since I was 16-17. I’m 60 and my son, 17, is going into the workforce. Being in the construction industry for most of my life, I have contacts upon contacts in the industry. We’re in the Northern Nevada area and out of all the contractors I know, most of them said they’d put him to work. I’ve worn square toe for the last 25 years and my son wanted his first work boot to be like his old man. Amazons price on these was better than boot barn and even though Justin’s are now made somewhere other than the USA the quality is still good. Not like the old days but what are you going to do. Buy them, wear them re sole and start over. There’s nothing like the smell of a new boot. 100% recommend

Great boot for the price
Got this boot at a good price and really like the square toe. It gives you plenty of room for your toes. Boot may run a little big. I normally wear a 9D, but had to get an 8.5D for this boot. Like most boots, it takes a few days to break in, but once it does, it's very comfortable. I like the thicker rubber soles vs. the leather soles for most Western boots. I'm hoping these last as long as my last pair of Justin's.

Good for 6 months
I loved these boots while they lasted. I added a support insole and the fit was perfect. I get a 12 wide and these were true to size. They slip on and off easily and were comfortable all day long.I’ve had the soles wear out prematurely on every pair of work boots I’ve ever owned. The soles on these wore down like a pencil eraser. I bought them in October of 2023. I went through about a dozen of those glue-on heelprotectors.Added new $130 Goodyear soles at around five months. I threw them in the trash last week and it’s only July 2024. The leather uppers were still fine. Waste of money to get them repaired. The pair I’m ordering today might get me until around Christmas. This is crazy. It’s a shame that longer wearing soles don’t seem to be available. But I like them enough to buy another pair. You may have better luck, like if spend your days sitting in a chair.

Best boot for the price.
I was wearing my more expensive, "better" quality boots to work, and was getting tired of having to constantly clean them so that I could wear them out to dinner, or other occasions. I bought these (Very similar style as other pair I own) with the intention that these would be my designated work boots, and other pair would be my out on the town pair. After pulling these on for the first time it was evident to me that these would now be my go to boot. I wear them daily to work, play, eat, run errands, etc. My other pair has been throw in the back or the closet. These boots have it all, the tread on the sole is enough to give traction in all terrain, without collecting mud. The insole cushion feels great, I wear them 12 hours a day and hate to take them off at night. The boot looks fantastic, in the dirt, or on the dance floor. Just had them paired with a suit vest and bow tie, and received just a as many complements on boots as I did on rest of attire.

They looked awesome, but...
These boots looked great, and once I could get them onto my feet, they felt great. I liked how they don't have a tall heel on them and felt like a regular pair of work boots. They weren't awkward to wear at all.BUTThree days into wearing them, I started having problems. The pull loops on top of the boot that you use to pull the boot onto your foot started to fall off. The stitching on these loops was faulty. I could have taken them to a shoe repair shop, but these were a brand new pair of boots... there is no reason that I should have to take a pair of new boots to a repair shop. I decided that I didn't want a pair of Justin boots anymore, and asked the seller for a refund. According to the seller, they won't refund worn items, only replace them. HOWEVER, according to Amazon, you have 30 days for a refund under their A to Z guarantee. I did have to file a claim through Amazon to get a refund for these boots, and after I opened the claim I was issued a refund. This is why I love Amazon and their customer service. I did have to do all the leg work to get the refund though... I had to make a bunch of phone calls to Amazon's customer service and even go to the post office and pay out of pocket to ship the boots back to the seller. Amazon did credit my account for the $15 it cost to ship them back though, so again another star for Amazon's customer service.

Not 1 year boots
Boots start out nice as they used to. The inside lining has failed on last 4 pairs and plastic breaks apart. The non U.S. boots do not hold up like previous generation boots.Having had several pairs fail (I have been getting Justin boots for Father’s Day for 10 years.) last few years boots don’t make it a year. Previously I would buy new because I wear the outside edge of the heels each year. Now the insides fall apart and are unwearable in 6 months or less. I have been a Justin boot wearer nearly every day for 20 years.Considering other brands now due to repeated quality issues
