Essential for model making, just need to wipe any excess off before replacing the cap
Having recently made the move back into model making, it was good to see that the technology had moved on a bit since I was a child. Previously glue came in a tube with a large nozzle, and most of it ended up on both the model and your fingers. I very much prefer this thin needle type appliance. It's much easier to dispense smaller amounts of glue than it ever used to be. Even so, it is still possible to squeeze out too much glue from time to time, and also once in a while when the cap is pulled off the needle comes out with it. To combat this I wipe any excess glue off the end of the needle with tissue paper before putting the cap back on. One containers has been sufficient for several models and shows no sign of running out yet, so value wise it's excellent.

Disappointing...
I spent ages reading into different glues to use for plastic models and the reviews for this made it sound perfect. In fairness, the precision tip of the glue bottle is exactly that. I had no issues at all getting the glue exactly where it needed to be and in the right amount so that was actually pretty impressive.Reason for the one star review is that it simply doesn't work. The bottle comes with no instructions or product info at all save a sticker on the bottle with a cancer warning and a link to a website. Googled drying times and found that it was roughly about half an hour to set apparently, not a big deal. Checked back half an hour later, it had bonded but needed a bit longer so I decided to leave it overnight. Checked back the following morning, picked up the bits I'd glued - gently! - and they fell apart. Cleaned the glue off, made sure I hadn't accidentally painted the areas where the glue needed to go and tried again, and again, and again and have now given up. I've tried probably about a dozen times now with various parts of the model and the same result. Disappointed as I have wasted money on useless glue that comes with a dodgy warning and I still don't have an assembled model. Back to the drawing board I guess...

Quality and Great Value
Revell Contacta is my Go-to for model making, I have just finished a bottle that has been sat for about 15 years since being first used, this stuff lasts and is easy to use with the needle. takes a little practice to get the knack of loading the needle, then transferring to the model without pouring it everywhere, but so much better than the squeezy tubes. This big bottle will go a long long wayDon't squeeze when it's inverted on the model, It will go everywhere!

Best precision adhesive dispenser for hobbycrafts.
My first time buying/using this adhesive and I'm really impressed. For precision application of adhesive this product is great, the needle is quite long and thin which allows you to apply a precise drop - the design is perfect for having to apply adhesive in deeply recessed parts. The parts i've applied the adhesive too have bonded well, and there isnt a lot of mess either like what other adhesives i've used have left me with, one of the parts is a atmospheric temperature control dial which sees a lot of use and forces exerted on it as it's linked to a servo and the part hasn't failed - where as i've used "top grade" epoxys which failed on this very same part after curing for 72 hours, this adhesive bonded and cured and was ready for use within 8 hours without me needing to sand the parts and treat them with solvents.Incredible stuff!

Great adhesive provided the pieces are not pre painted!
This is a great product and the applicator is easy to use, however, the metal nozzle should be better fixed to the container as it does have a habit of coming off and away from the container. But far and away the best piece of advice I can offer is that the pieces of plastic must Must MUST be clean and unpainted otherwise the glue simply will not make a strong joint...effectively the paint forms a barrier and any joint you do get will be weak and brittle.

perfect
(Tip) use a lighter to burn the end when it gets clogged it restarts the flow something you cant really do with plastic glue bottles, also very accurate, i use this for miniature modeling

Worked well for me
I have broken my car roof box by driving under barrier, it split in two places. Box had shape regained but I needed something to fix my new and expensive roof box. After loads of research I decided to go with revell, because how it works- melts plastic edge and then glues together. Received quick , applied on the split seams of the box - works as been told. It melts plastic little and when you put edges together it glues it. I did glue it , left it to dry , then just to make sure applied over glued already seams once more and after one more time to make sure it's waterproof. After comletly dry in few days took out the box and run water with hose ower it for some time to see if its waterproof. Not a drop inside ( there was two splits over 20cm each ). So far after two trips with roof box when raining all good.Tried to fix my boys water gun water container which split too , to see if it will work on different type of plastic, it was total useless on that one it just stayed on the top and when dried out peeled off. Rigid plastic - wery good, toys plastic - useless.Hope this helps to make a decision to someone.

I've used this product before and liked the bottle and applicator it avoids any mess or wastage and makes application so much easier to small parts, the glue does not go hard in the bottle after opening. I was pleased to find this bottle was larger than my previous as I have no concerns about the glue setting in the bottle during periods of storage. This would be my first choice of glue for the intended purposes and great value.
