I was a little hesitant about ordering this costume based on some of the negative reviews and the fact that it is a 'one size fits all'.I'm a size 4 or 6 generally so expected it to be on the large size for me and it is. I would say you could be up to a size 10 and it still fit ok. I sew so I'm happy to take it in a little bit to improve the overall fit.It is made of a pink velour type fabric with a white faux fur trim - just like the picture. It is a good quality and the dress and hat are made of the exact same fabric so they match perfectly. I'm very impressed with the quality for the price.As other reviewers said the belt is ridiculously long - I don't know what they are thinking. I plan to un-stitch the part where it attaches to the buckle and lop around 20 inches off it so that it fits properly. Alternatively you could just punch another hole in it.I plan to buy red tights to wear with it to complete the outfit and will hopefully completing a novelty 5k race in it with my husband who will be dressed as Buddy the Elf - by the way we are making his costume from scratch because we couldn't find a quality Buddy costume anywhere!Overall very pleased with my purchase - looks just like the picture. If you are ok doing a bit of adjusting with it I would highly recommend it.

Unfortunately I was on a time crunch and desperate and had to order this for the outrageous price of 67 dollars and 57 cents … i’m sure back when this was sold in the store it was probably 39.99 at most… Why on earth it would come with the dress, the belt, the shoe covers, the hat , but then NOT come with the red tights is beyond my wildest imagination… My fault for not reading the fine print, however it’s truly a rip off… This is sold and shipped by Amazon I guarantee you they spent two dollars to get it on their shelves and then they sell it for way above msrp. Pretty typical of Amazon tho, and unfortunately it’s just the times we live in… other reviewer‘s are correct, in that the white collar does not stay down at all, and in the photo it makes it look like the sleeves go all the way down to your hands where they are actually quarter length sleeve, my belt also did not have a silver buckle it is red plastic… The hat is also a perfect size for a babies head, but not an adult female…… … It also sheds terribly bad and I’m pretty sure mine was returned and repackage because there was tons of dog hair all over it… how sad that this is the world we live in, where we spend way too much money for something to arrive in terrible quality, not as pictured, and missing key items to make the what they call a deluxe costume… If it is deluxe, I would assume it would have the pants… AnyWho, that’s my review, hope it helps! If you’re desperate and you have to order this just make sure to order some red pants with it otherwise I would try to find some thing generic, Better priced and probably just not from Amazon…

Alot of you complained about the belt being so big. Well thanks alot! Because of that, they now have replaced the belt with this tiny, child size one, WITHOUT ANY HOLES. So the belt didn't fit AT ALL. If it was too big, its easy to cut it and make it smaller, but YOU CANT EXTEND A SHORT BELT!!.The other thing about this costume that i was NOT happy with - Straight out of the package, it reeks of fish. Not new package smell or anything. Straight up fish or cat pee. SPECIALLY THE HAT. Gross....Besides that - the dress actually fit well. The waist is made of elastic so it has stretch. I usually wear size 12-14 dress and it fit comfortably. The fur trim on the neck line sticks up, so if you get this, you'll need to buy hemming tape so it STAYS down. THe dress material is see through, made of soft felt. There is a pink glitter tulle under the skirt but so short, you dont see it. THe dress itself is short. I'm 5'0 and it was a very risque short skirt. Granted, you buy your own leggings and you're set, but thats not the point. if youre tall, don't get this costume. the red details around the neckline are poorly made.

I loved the fabric and the feel of the material. The top was a bit large across the shoulders. The belt was also difficult to cinch down across my waist and I had to use pins to make it tight enough. However the shoe covers were so cute and easy to fit over my clogs. Overall, great elf outfit to wear for both halloween and christmas holiday season!

The outfit itself, with the exception of the leggings, were true to size. It is a little sheer, so recommend wearing something underneath. The leggings are super loose and not attractive.

The quality of the costume for the price is poor. The “fur” is matted and thin. Description says costume comes with dress, hat, bet, and shoe covers. Mine arrived quickly but with only the dress and hat. Missing the shoe covers and belt. The dress is very short in my opinion and I am 5’5”.

I loved this costume, it worked perfect for the Christmas event that I attended. It’s a little see through so I bought a red pants one piece to wear under it. I chose to get a pants one piece bc not only was it see through but it was short, I’m 5’5.5 and I just didn’t want to give anyone a show if I had to bend over or raise my hands above my heard. I also bought elf ears as well to go with this outfit. I really did enjoy wearing the costume and I got so many complements.
