This utensil is strong and useful. It is also beautiful. This spoon feels good in your hand as you use it, stirring and miixibg.

The material is wonderful - felt good holding it in terms of weight, comfort, etc., and worked very well due to its degree of flexibility. I used it as a stirrer and intend to order more. Hoping to find larger sized spoons and spatulas.

Haven't had a chance to use it yet, but 5 stars for design, looks, and sturdiness!

Bought several utensils from DI ORO to replace old wooden ones-Love them

they leave a plasticky smell and taste when used to stir sauces etc.

Dad doesn't like anyone using metal utensils on his non-stick pans. Bought him these for the new All Clad pans I also purchased for him to replace his old, deteriorating ones!

I used this to stir a 10.5 qt pot of cream of wheat. The handle end (versus scoop end) of the spoon is soft and unsupported for approximately an inch. I assume that this is to make it easy to hang up the spoon on a hook. (By supported, I mean the sturdy, unmoving stick portion of the spoon that makes it possible to stir.) That malleable inch needs to be sturdy for someone to be able to stir relatively large, deep pots. I find myself continually grasping the soft end, trying to stir, and having the spoon go limp in my hand. If you need a sturdy spoon for a deep pot, then this is not for you. I suggest that you pay attention to pot depth and spoon length, keeping in mind that some spoons may be designed like this one with extra, unusable length at the handle end.If you don't need significant, sturdy length, then the material of this seems easy to clean and resistant to heat. Love that much.

Bin zufrieden mit diesem Produkt, habe mir die komplette Serie gekauft . Einzelbestellung war günstiger als die komplette Serie mit einmal zu kaufen, warum auch immer-)), Die Hitzebeständigkeit ist ein großes Plus.

In casa non avevamo mai utilizzato un cucchiaio forato, forse perchè all'inizio non ne capivamo bene l'utilità. Questo della di Oro® è sicuramente di buon livello: è realizzato in silicone, molto resistente visto che deve sopportare il caldo molto intenso della cottura dei cibi. E' decisamente grande, visto che circa 33 cm, rendendolo perfetto da utilizzare in pentole o padelle grandi senza che si sfiorino o bordi e si rischi di bruciarsi. Essendo in silicone poi si adatta perfettamente alle pentole antiaderenti perchè evita di graffiarle. Buona le presa: fortuntamente il silicone non si è mostrato scivoloso. Chiaramente la parte più utile rimane quella dei fori che permettono di scolare l'acqua quando si vuole prendere il cibo direttamente dalle pentola nella quale lo stiamo cucinando senza scolare tutta l'acqua. Sembra una banalità ma non lo è per niente visto che in questi casi usiamo stoviglie che non sono proprio adatte a questo scopo e che pertanto non sono molto funzionali.Discreto il prezzo: se fosse stato un paio di euro in meno sarebbe stato perfetto.

Mestolo con esterno in silicone rosso con scanalature e anima in acciaio.La qualità di questo prodotto si intuisce già appena viene preso in mano, piuttosto pesante per via dell'anima in acciaio ma perfettamente bilanciato.Ho avuto la possibilità di testare questo prodotto e devo ammettere che è stato sapientemente studiato. Il marchio propone la vendita di un mestolo scanalato ed uno chiuso per permettere l'utilizzo su diversi tipi di pietanze. Personalmente utilizzo spesso questo mestolo quando non voglio prendere anche il sughetto, come ad esempio quando servo la carne al sugo o quando cucino i piselli e li voglio aggiungere come contorno ai piatti.In conclusione penso sia un prodotto di alta qualità ma trovo che il costo sia un po' esagerato.
