Good taste, great price
It's a good coffee and a great price, although I would suggest going for one of the other blends instead of the house its well worth the extra couple of £

Coffee
Disappointingly, little taste. Cheaper supermarket coffees have more taste. Not worth the money.

Absolutely fantastic!
Pact coffeeEvery morning (and more often than not in the afternoon as well) I have either an espresso, a pour over coffee (chemex or v60) or a pot of French press/cafetière. Pact really manage to deliver in all these areas (obviously depending on which grind you’ve selected), offering tasty coffee with great flavour profiles. They give a real depth of flavour without the burnt, over roasted coffees you would buy in the supermarket. The coffee is a tad expensive, granted, but it makes for a wonderful treat every now and then (or more regularly, if you’re like me). It certainly beats the cloying flavour of mass produced coffee, and Pact make sure what you have delivered is freshly ground and recently roasted.I could not recommend this more highly. Do your tastebuds and morning routine a favour and get yourself some.If you found this review useful in any way I’d be really grateful if you could let me know by clicking the “helpful” button below :)

Quality & Ethical but Pricey for a House blend
Firstly, this is good quality, ethically sourced coffee which shows the roast date. All of these points are first class and I like the way Pact does business. The House Blend is a very friendly smooth coffee that is not bitter or too acidic. That being said, to my palate it is pretty one dimensional and not all that complex (which is kind of what it’s designed to be so this isn’t a criticism). As far as value for money goes this is a bit on the expensive side (they do pay considerably above Fairtrade prices to farmers though). To my personal palate there are some other brands which offer more depth of flavour for less money but I’m not sure if they support coffee farmers to the same degree that Pact does.I tried this back to back with a café direct Machu Picchu coffee that I keep as a staple and found that offering to be more compelling with greater depth of flavour as well as a fair bit less expensive. All in all, this is still good quality tasty coffee. I might try their Select or Micro Lot offerings and see if they are more to my palate. But for my daily “house coffee” when I’m not drinking a speciality coffee I will stick with Café Direct over this.

Amazing coffee so fresh and such great aromas and taste.
Lovely fresh coffee with different flavours of the month. I discovered this company a few months ago and now can't wait for my bubble envelope to fall through letterbox. This is coffee how it should be, just give it a try.

Perfect rounded flavour
I really like this coffee, I have a double espresso every morning and I love the rounded flavour of these beans, they give that depth of flavour with no harshness. The full 250g fits perfectly into my coffee machine but the bag is self-sealing (like a zip lock bag) which is nice and handy to keep fresh in the fridge.Something I like is how fresh the coffee is, I received this only a week after it being packed and roasted and I am sure that must enhance the flavour. My run of the mill coffee is normally Lavazza but I sincerely prefer this one from Pact. Absolutely wonderful for espressos as well as a base for cappuccinos (my wife’s coffee of choice). All in all, I have no criticisms whatsoever, if you want a well-rounded and flavourful coffee with no harshness, this one from Pact is an excellent option.I was kindly with provided a sample by the manufacturer to review; the opinions expressed here are entirely my own view of this coffee.
